Reflexology is a safe, relaxing complimentary therapy, taken fully clothed, you only need remove your socks! You will relax in a reclining chair with your legs and feet elevated in a comfortable position.  You might want to chat during the treatment which is fine, although to receive the full benefits I recommend clearing the mind as much as possible and concentrating on the healing power of this amazing treatment. I use relaxing  music and aromatherapy oils in my treatment room,  but these are optional. 

 

There are some medical conditions where it may not be possible to carry out a treatment, so a full consultation is carried out on the first visit and takes about 15 minutes.  Your treatment will be individually tailored you as a whole person, considering both physical and environmental factors which might be affecting your wellbeing.  

 

After an initial consultation, a treatment plan will be devised, followed by your first treatment which will take about an hour.  I use a variety of techniques to apply pressure to specific areas of each foot, concentrating on areas where congestion or blockages present.  This will be combined with plenty of relaxing massage, leaving you with a deep sense of well-being. 

 

I will provide after-care advice and will be in touch the following day to see how you are. It is advisable to have some down time after the treatment, my treatment room is a 5-minute drive from the seafront, so why not take some time to breath some healing sea air after your treatment!

 

Initially, a course of 6 weekly treatments is recommended for full benefit, followed by maintenance treatments, every 4-6 weeks.
